Natural White: 5 Minute Whitening Gel Kit
So, I’m going to go ahead and start by letting you know that this whitening kit was only $1 at my local Dollar Tree. With it being only one dollar, I really didn't get my hopes up too much, that way I wouldn't be disappointed if it was a bad product.
Well, I used it for the first time tonight just to see if I even saw a slight difference from one use. Now, the directions tell you to put the gel into the tray before putting it into your mouth. However, since I already have previous experience with bleaching my teeth, I knew that I didn't want to do that. So, I put the gel onto my teeth using a q-tip. I didn't use a lot, just enough to coat the front of the teeth, and I didn't apply it all the way up to my gum-line because I anticipated that the gel would push up when I put the trays in.
I set a timer on my phone for 5 minutes and I just hopped back onto my laptop and chose a song from YouTube and browsed on Facebook.
-Let me just go ahead and tell you, I have EXTREMELY sensitive teeth. So, I really was afraid to use this because of my previous experiences with teeth whitening gel. Even the Crest strips caused me pain. It literally felt like I was at the dentist being drilled into, without the laughing gas. And the pain would usually set in the very second I put the trays in.
Thankfully, with this teeth whitening gel, it didn't hurt me at all. At least, not until the very last second, I got one small pain in my front tooth that lasted only a millisecond. But literally as soon as I got the pain, my timer went off on my phone before I even had a chance to react to it.
So, I went to rinse it out and of course I brushed my teeth afterwards to make sure I got every last bit of the gel out of my mouth. And what I saw definitely made me happy! My teeth were noticeably whiter. I tried to take some photos of the results, but the camera just wasn't doing it justice.
For one buck, I am a satisfied customer! The label says not to use this product for more than 14 days, without being approved to do so by a dentist. And you use it twice a day. I read a review from a woman earlier saying that she ended up going through this whole tube in a week, but for $1 a week for 2 weeks, that’s not too bad of a price to pay to get a brighter smile! And you may end up using less than that one woman did, I really have a feeling that I will.
Bottom line: I’m giving this product a thumbs up! I definitely plan to buy more, and maybe even give them to a few friends as gifts!
I’ll post an update on my teeth in two weeks with a before and after shot of the results, so go ahead and follow my blog to get my updates, as well as my new product reviews :) Thanks for reading!
And one last thing that I would like to recommend are these boil & bite bleaching trays. Now, I haven’t personally used them, but my step-mom used to use these when I was younger and she was always happy with them. They are at an unbeatable price, as well, especially when compared to the prices of having professional molds done at the dentist or orthodontist :)
Oh, and I also found this nifty little LED whitening light that amplifies the effects of the whitening gel! I saw reviews of many people who used this light with the Natural White gel, and they were extremely satisfied customers! For the light being this inexpensive, why not go ahead and grab that, too, right? :)
